Children are very smart and understanding if they are raised in a loving and open environment and that would be a given when your mum/dad is a transsexual/gender (whatever). The only thing that would cause hurt and confusion is the outside world – opinions on what should and should not be and how it should and should not affect them. How mummy and daddy should look and act is not an innate expectation.

It's just not true. A "Man" by definition was born with a penis and the correct anatomy to produce sperm (although in some cases, people are sterile, but this is not the point). Most importantly, a man is born with XY DNA. A Woman can't simply start taking testosterone, grow facial hair and a mans muscular structure and then claim "I'm a Man!". If she still has a vagina, ovaries and XX DNA, then sorry, you can claim to look manly all you want, but you're a woman. A “Man” by definition was born with a penis and the correct anatomy to produce sperm (although in some cases, people are sterile, but this is not the point). Most importantly, a man is born with XY DNA.

A Woman can’t simply start taking testosterone, grow facial hair and a mans muscular structure and then claim “I’m a Man!”. If she still has a vagina, ovaries and XX DNA, then sorry, you can claim to look manly all you want, but you’re a woman.
