Missing Perseids.

Slept really badly again last night, despite taking Blackmores Tranquil Night (I think that’s what it’s called). Thank you very much to Madonna for recommending these to me.  I’m giving it another go tonight. Anyway, last night I had a nightmare about a freaky amusement park that had a historical display much like the Pompeii exhibit I saw in Melbourne.  Emma was also stealing chips from the gift shop. That makes me laugh though, it’s so random?

I was meant to get up early so Nicki and I could go shopping at Chermside, but we both ended up ‘sleeping’ in.  I arrived at his place at about 2pm, had some lunch and went shopping at Morayfield.  We had a really fun day.  I bought a few little crafty things so I can work on a surprise for Liam.

Nicki and I decided we’re going to make dolls with Lynette.  It’s very exciting, although I’m worried I’ll suck at it.

Liam and I had a nice night. He surprised me by coming over with dinner and dessert.  We finished watching the third season of The IT Crowd (maybe I’ll do a review of it soon..) and then waited until 1am to see the Perseids meteor shower in the sky, which we couldn’t see anyway because of the gibbous moon.  For those interested in the Perseids meteor shower I thought I might conduct some research and do a little write-up on it. :)

Now I’m not particularly religious, but there’s a quote from the Bible that’s inspiring me at the moment.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
(Matt 6: 34)

Another day is looming.

Time to try and sleep.

Gumhole and Tinselworm.

Yesterday must have been particularly boring because I didn’t feel inclined to update my blog and now I can’t actually remember what I did.  I’m pretty sure I woke up late and cleaned.  Then I finished my day being a twat on webcam, showing people my ‘gumhole’ hahaha.  For those who don’t know, my gumhole is a hole in the back of my mouth from when my wisdom teeth were removed. :D

Today was a really lovely day. Liam came over in the morning and we had lunch together and watched Bill Bailey’s show Tinselworm (thank you to Monique for lending it to me).  I ended up falling asleep, I was so tired.  I think I definitely prefer Dylan Moran’s comedy over Bill Bailey.

I had to go back to see the doctor about my mouth.  She said it’s healing nicely, after which Liam and I had dinner overlooking the water at Redcliffe.  It was freezing so cold so we then went back to my place and watched some more of Season 3 of The IT crowd.  Hopefully he’ll have the internet within the week so we can keep in contact a little easier.

I’ve just been working on a little surprise for my mum.  She had a box of photos sitting in her room ages ago and I offered to sort them out.  Tomorrow I’ll surprise her by giving her a photo album one of my siblings (can’t recall who) bought her a while ago with her old photos in it.  Hope she likes it.

My parents are much better by the way.  I think they got the vibe that I was getting irritated, because they haven’t been nagging as much and they’ve been giving me a little more space.  Thank you to everyone for the support, I’m feeling much better. :D

My sister, Kerri-Anne, and her daughter, Jade, will be here tomorrow taking care of Nanna.  I’m looking forward to seeing her.  I might have friends over for games tomorrow night, but we’ll see.

Soon I will begin the arduous task of looking for a job. Hopefully I’ll get the job I want down the road.  I won’t specify what it is but it’s monotonous and brainless, so I assume, which is what I want.

Time for some tea I think.

Until the end.

Today was a much better day!

I got up and went to game traders. They overcharged me $15 on Star Wars: Pod Racer on Nintendo 64 so I went to get that back (THIEVES?!) no actually they were really nice about it.. Haha.  I ended up buying a cute little pokémon that you can fold into being a pokéball.. couldn’t resist!

Then I cleaned and organised stuff.

Had kangaroo for dinner, my favourite!  Cooked by my magnificent  father!

I watched episode one of season three of the IT crowd with Liam at his house.  It was hilarious.

Had a lot of fun driving home, too.  Some guy tried to take me on in my little Ford Laser, but he got PWND! AHAHAHAHAHA!  I didn’t speed either, of course. Never do. I just speed up quickly. My clutch also meows when I push it in (it’s squeaky).

I was listening to a song on the way home too, Until the end by Breaking Benjamin.  Describes how I’m feeling, I think.

“Why give up, why give in,
It’s not enough, it never is,
So I will go on until the end.”

Good song, good band.  Highly recommended.  The lyrics aren’t as emo as they sound either, I promise! They’re rather inspiring.

I would just like to say, I love my siblings. They are the best.  Like, the universe is big – really big, and has lots of cool stuff, but it has nothing on how much awesomeness my darling brothers and sisters have.. what? Does that even make sense?

I appreciate them, okay!?
:D
